Basic Policy

The Company may also collect transaction records which may include personal information of the User, and payment-related information from the Company's business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad delivery destinations, hereinafter referred to as "Partners").

 

Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  • To respond to User inquiries (including identity verification)
  • To send emails about new features, updates, campaigns of services currently used by the User, and other services offered by the Company

Article 4 (Changes to Purpose of Use)

The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the original purpose.
If the purpose of use is changed, the Company shall notify Users of the changed purpose by a method prescribed by the Company or publish it on this website.


Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the consent of the User, except in the following cases and as permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws:

  • When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
  • When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
  • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual’s consent is likely to hinder the performance of such duties
  • When the following matters have been announced or published in advance and the Company has submitted a report to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
    • The purpose of use includes provision to a third party
    • The items of data provided to the third party
    • The means or methods of provision to the third party
    • That provision of personal information to a third party will be suspended upon the individual's request
    • The method for accepting such requests from the individual

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be considered as provision to a third party:

  • When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  • When personal information is provided due to a merger or other reasons related to business succession
  • When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the individual is notified in advance or is in a state where the individual can easily find out the items of personal information to be used jointly, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use by the users, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the personal information

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

When the Company is requested by the individual to disclose personal information, the Company shall disclose it without delay. However, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information in any of the following cases. And if a decision is made not to disclose, the Company shall notify the individual without delay. A fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

  • When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
  • When it would significantly hinder the proper execution of the Company's business
  • When it would violate other laws

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, as a general rule, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as history information and characteristic information.


Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If a User finds that the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the User may request the Company to correct, add to, or delete such personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company.

If the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to such request from the User, the Company shall carry out the Correction, etc. of the relevant personal information without delay.

If the Company carries out the Correction, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, or decides not to carry out the Correction, etc., the Company shall notify the User without delay.


Article 8 (Suspension of Use and Deletion of Personal Information)

If the Company is requested by the individual to suspend the use or delete personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use") on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use, or was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.

Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall carry out the Suspension of Use of the relevant personal information without delay.

If the Company carries out the Suspension of Use based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or decides not to carry out the Suspension of Use, the Company shall notify the User without delay.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if the Suspension of Use would require a large amount of cost or is otherwise difficult to implement, and if alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the User, the Company shall take such alternative measures.


Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

Except as otherwise provided by laws or this Policy, the contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to the Users.

Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the changed Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is posted on this website.


Article 10 (Use of Cookies)

This Site uses "Cookies" for the convenience of the Users.

Cookies are small pieces of data sent from a web server to the User's browser and stored on the hard disk, used to identify the User’s computer.
Data collected through cookies will be used only for purposes such as marketing analysis of user behavior on this Site and provision of various services.
