Completely pesticide-free and organically grown
Miracle matcha born from the nature of the Southern Alps

Organic matcha from Shizuoka Prefecture (50g)

静岡県産オーガニック抹茶(50g)

This matcha is made using 100% organically grown, pesticide-free matcha, carefully selected by MATCHA HEVEN, which only sells rare, organically grown tea leaves that are grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Organic tea accounts for about 6% of organic agricultural products, and if we limit it to matcha, it only accounts for 1-2%.

We use tea leaves from a particularly high-quality producing area in Shizuoka Prefecture, one of Japan's leading tea producing regions.
The tea leaves that are used to make matcha are grown in the Tenku Tea Garden, a secluded area at the top of a steep mountain amid the magnificent natural beauty of the Southern Alps.
In mountainous areas where there is a large difference in temperature between day and night, mist gently covers the tea leaves, softly absorbing the sunlight and creating a clear aroma and flavor. Also, the short hours of sunlight allow the tea leaves to grow softly, resulting in a balanced, gentle flavor with natural sweetness and mild astringency.
Tea plantations at an altitude of 350m or higher are not affected by pesticides drifting from other areas and can be said to be truly pesticide-free, making them popular among health-conscious matcha lovers.
Why not give it as a gift to someone special, or to yourself?

In addition to the basic way of drinking it by dissolving it in hot or cold water, it also goes great with milk, soy milk, and almond milk.

A foldable tea scoop is also included in the set.
Since the tea scoop is made to take advantage of the unique characteristics of the bamboo itself, there may be natural color variations.
Enjoy the natural flavor of bamboo.
(Please refrain from using the dishwasher or dish dryer as sudden changes in temperature and humidity may cause the product to crack.)

[Recipe Variations]

Matcha can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, not just by dissolving it in hot or cold water.

  • 抹茶塩のおむすび

    Matcha salt rice ball

Make matcha salt by mixing 1 teaspoon (5ml) each of matcha and salt.
Simply mix the matcha salt evenly into rice (200-240g) and tie it together to make matcha salt rice balls.
We also recommend mixing in some shirasu (whitebait) or ochazuke arare (rice crackers with tea on top) to your liking.
  • 抹茶味噌

    Matcha miso

Put white miso (100g), sugar (30g), sake (2 tablespoons), and mirin (1 tablespoon) into a pot and mix over low heat. When it becomes sticky, turn off the heat and let it cool.
Serve on top of steamed daikon radish or use as dengaku miso.
*The key is to mix the matcha thoroughly so that it doesn't form lumps.
*It is also recommended to serve it on grilled fish such as grilled Spanish mackerel in Nishikyo style or salmon.
  • 抹茶スムージー

    Matcha smoothie

Just add matcha to your usual smoothie.
It also goes well with green vegetables such as kale, komatsuna, and spinach, and fruits such as apples, bananas, kiwi, muscat grapes, and grapefruit.
You can also add honey or lemon juice to make it even more delicious.

The finest organic matcha grown by the earth and sky

Matcha is made by eating the whole tea leaf, so we want to make sure it is safe and secure.
MATCHA HEAVEN is a shop that sells only rare, single-origin matcha that is grown organically without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Based on this philosophy, they offer carefully selected, top-quality matcha.
Tea is generally sold in a blend known as "gogumi," which is a blend of tea leaves from different regions and varieties. However, single origin matcha is not a blend and is made from a single variety of matcha grown on a single farm, allowing you to fully enjoy the unique characteristics of each region and variety.

Most of the matcha comes from within Shizuoka Prefecture, and the representative of MATCHA HEAVEN personally visits tea farms to carefully select the best.
These completely pesticide-free tea leaves are grown on organic JAS-certified farmland at an altitude of over 350m, making them extremely rare and popular with health-conscious people.
This high quality has been highly praised and this matcha is even used in a certain five-star hotel.

In today's busy world, convenience is prioritized, and with so many options available, tea is gradually becoming less of a choice.
Concerned about the current situation in which the number of tea farmers and the area of tea plantations are decreasing year by year, MATCHA HEAVEN wants to be a presence that can convey the feelings of producers who grow their tea with love, and it is important to convey the appeal of matcha to a wide range of people, from matcha beginners to enthusiasts.
