Sicilian rock salt (fine grain)
This is a very finely ground, powdery rock salt harvested from Sicily.
Because the grains are fine and dissolve easily, it is easy to use as a "sprinkle salt" by directly sprinkling it on food, and it is also easy to adjust the taste.
It's versatile and can be used in a wide range of dishes, such as boiling pasta and vegetables, seasoning meat dishes, and french fries.
The rock salt used is sourced from a mine in a small town called Racalmuto on the island of Sicily.
It is obtained by using heavy machinery to excavate massive layers of rock salt in tunnels known as "rock salt tunnels."
The rock salt harvested here has a high purity of sodium chloride and a clean, refreshing taste without any bitterness.
Sicilian olive oil
This olive oil is made using only carefully selected olives and is produced slowly and meticulously, resulting in limited production. However, we were able to source it through our own unique channels.
The quality of olive oil is determined by the quality of the olives, the extraction method, and the storage conditions.
This Sicilian olive oil is made with meticulous attention to every detail.
The raw material used is 100% olives of the native variety called "Tonda Iblea."
Because the oil is extracted without filtering, it contains small pieces of olive pulp and skin, allowing you to enjoy the rich and fresh flavor as is.
Except for using wooden ladders to work high up on the trees, the harvesting process is entirely done by hand. By working by hand without using tools, we can harvest without causing unnecessary damage or stress to the trees or fruit.
The young olives are picked and transported to a nearby oil mill within eight hours. To preserve the antioxidant properties of the olives, they are carefully extracted using state-of-the-art equipment and under strict temperature control.
